Shetland Triangle

I made the Shetland Triangle by Evelyn Clark from Wrap Style in worsted wt alpaca. I added faceted glass beads to the edging points. I gave it as a gift and it was greatly appreciated.

One Button Cardigan

My much modified version of the One Button Cardigan, by Mari Lynn Patrick, from Interweave Knits Summer 2005, sans button, resized with Sweater Wizard. I really like the short bolero shape that turned out. I found that I preferred the inside (wrong side) of the rib pattern so I did not fold it over to make the shawl collar. I used Classic Elite Lush. I loved the sweater when I was done. However, the yarn bloomed and fuzzed and the neat lace pattern became blurred. I would like to make this again in another yarn, but it's at the very end of my To-Do-Again list. I would add increases in the outer edge of the ribbing, or maybe a bind off with extra stitches incorporated to allow the curve of the fronts to lie flat.

Chanson en Crochet

Chanson en Crochet by Mari Lynn Patrick from Wrap Style. I loved this project, and I want to make it again in a different yarn. I used Classic Elite Lush, and it was nice to work with, but it blooms and the stitches become a mass of fuzzy angora halo. I think I'll try Rowan Wool Cotton for my next Chanson.
